As we barrel towards the end of 2024, it is time to look back at what was a jam-packed year here at Bintani.
We welcomed so many new products in-house that it's almost hard to keep track. We are also thrilled to report that a new initiative—our Clear Plastic Recovery Program —has been taken up with gusto.
So keep reading as we review some of our standout new products. As an added bonus, we also shout out 3 beers you should definitely try over the summer break.
Products
In terms of new products, it was a murderer's row of quality items hitting the shelves and flying out the door. This year alone, we introduced
Some great products dropped throughout the year from our main suppliers to highlight just a few: From North America, we welcomed the release of Rahr Maltings Pale Ale and Premium Pilsner, which are incredibly forgiving in the brewhouse and popular with big-time brewers in the USA. From Abstrax Hops, there were multiple new releases our customers were excited about. The skyfarm range brought a vast variety of flavours to the market to cater to the fruit-forward beers our customers are creating. Our Partners at Joe White released their Signature Malt 2024, made from Baudin barley from Ungarie NSW and specially designed to provide brewhouses with consistent performance.
Initiatives
This year, we launched our Clear Plastic Recovery program in our Victorian and South Australian warehouses. The brewing industry has been at the forefront of minimising its environmental footprint. At Bintani, we launched our complimentary service to help our customers reduce their single-use plastic usage. Customers at our Melbourne and Adelaide warehouses are now welcome to drop their clear plastic off to be repurposed into feedstock oil for plastic remanufacture and avoid landfill. What made the deal even sweeter for our customers was the $100 Visa gift card we gave away every month to a lucky recycler. Saving the planet and making some extra cash is a good deal if you ask us.
Featured Beers
Creativity in the brewing game was on full display this year, and like a parent and their children, while we can't pick a definite favourite, here are just 3 we were excited to try and think you'll love.
Our partners at Dangerous Ales have brought some serious dankness to the table thanks to Abstrax BrewGas Pineapple Express. Their Sticky Icky is inundated with marijuana vibes, along with notes of pineapple and tropical fruit flavour.
In from the west, Margaret River Beer Co. has created Chill, literally, with their light-bodied, delicately balancing, hop-forward pils. Look out for notes of grape skin, lemon, passionfruit, ripe berry, kiwi, and mandarin.
Holgate x Noodledoof – Dank AF West Coast IPA
And finally, from regional Victoria, we have some of the most pungent aromas in beer in recent memory. Brought to you by Blackberry Kush notes of pine needles and citrus bring and earthy bitterness to this West Coast IPA
Thanks for being a part of a fantastic year for our partners, customers and team here at Bintani. 2025 is already shaping up to be an even bigger year with exciting new products, fun events, and even more surprises on the way. We look forward to seeing you in the new year.
