Blaze is an experimental beer: the brewers venturing into terpenes territory in the form of those derived from the cannabis strain Blackberry Kush. Blaze pours a hazy pale gold, its quickly dissipating white head leaving delicate lacing. The aroma is a mix of tropical fruits and citrus, a testament to the blend of Simcoe, Mosaic, Citra, and Nectaron hops. It’s the same interplay of sweet tropical and citrus characters on the palate, but complemented by a subtle peppery berry character derived from the Blackberry Kush terpenes.
